New Year, New Blog

I thought I would start 2021 with a new blog! I want a place where people can catch up with me and see what I'm up to. As we are living in Covid-19 times, there are not a lot of in-person events right now, but I have been attending some online readings. If you are interested in that sort of thing, a great reading series to check out is Poets and Pints out of Minneapolis and hosted by Tony Plocido.

I volunteer on Thursdays at the Watermark Art Center here in Bemidji. I enjoy it because I am surrounded by art all day and get to meet lots of people! Right now there is an exhibit featuring the photography of Ne-Dah-Ness Rose Greene that is fantastic.

I am always writing and reading poems. Right now I am reading Lucky Fish by Aimee Nezhukumatathil and Kontemporary Amerikan Poetry by John Murillo. I am reading Murillo in preparation for his upcoming appearance for The Northwoods & Donald Jordan Reading Series on February 12th. It is online, so you should check it out!

Stay tuned for more!
